Water Parks
On the Izmir side of Kusadasi about 5 minutes drive from Whispering Sands, you will find 2 large water parks, Adaland Aquafantasy. The latter has slightly smaller slides and more child-friendly ones, but both parks provide excellent fun for all ages. Indeed it would be a good idea to go 2 days and visit both.
There is a Karting complex about 4km from Whispering Sands, located off the main Kusadasi to Bodrum road. Normally 3 cars are allowed on the track at the same time. Cost depends on how many minutes you choose.
These fabulous 2 and 4 bedroom apartments are all bright and cheery. They include an open plan lounge with dining area and a kitchen fitted with everything you could need for home-from-home living. In the 2 bedroom apartment there is one double bedroom, with en suite toilet and shower room, plus one twin bedroom, separate shower room and a large balcony some with fabulous sea views. The 4 bedroom apartments have 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin singles. The complex has a communal freshwater pool where all can play and have fun and includes sun shade canopy over the children’s pool.

My husband, daugther and I have just returned from 2 weeks at Whispering Sands. As soon as we booked we had lots of contact from Liam and it was nice to finally meet him when arriving. The apartment was lovely and very clean and well furnished. Good cooking facilities – not that we used it!! The restaurant downstairs run by Sean was very good and friendly and reasonably priced with various choices. All the staff were extremely helpful and it was great that everyone in the complex spoke English. We would certainly recommend this to anyone and it was away from the hustle and bustle of the town. At the moment looking into flights to return next year.

Glenveagh
A few months ago I took a day trip to Glenveagh Castle Donegal Ireland with my wife Eileen. I know its a long way from Kusadasi but the scenery was fantastic and the weather that day was a beautiful autumn (fall) day with the trees starting to turn brown. I felt I wanted to share it with everyone. If you ever visit Ireland I recommend visiting Glenveagh National Park. I have added a couple of photographs I took today.

Holiday Rescue
My boyfriend and I originally booked to stay in another hotel which was absolutely horrendous, wandering around a foreign country in in over 30 degrees trying to find somewhere else to stay was not how I imagined the first day of my holiday. By chance meeting a very nice taxi man and bringing us to Whispering Sands saved our weeks holiday. From the minute we came to the resort it was like heaven, and to find the owners where from the same town we lived in made it even better, there was a more sense of security there. The apartment was top of the range, absolutely immaculate and clean. The resort had everything that we needed. The staff where extremely friendly and fun to be around, they simply couldn’t do enough for us. We are planning on returning again next summer. We would simply like to say thanks for the kind hospitality that was shown to us and wish Liam and partners every success for the future, the resort is a credit to them and shows how hard they work to achieve their successes with such a high standard and we could definitely recommend going there. “An Excellent Family-oriented Place to Spend Your Vacation”
If this is your first time traveling to Turkey or more specifically to Kussadasi, this is the place to be. The staff are fantastic, the view is breath-taking and the facilities are just great. We were looking for a place to spend 10-14 days in Turkey and we ended up staying for a whole 3 weeks.We would stay more if we could! We loved the entertainment, the pool was very clean and the kiddy pool was a big plus. The restaurant was serving phenomenal dishes at a reasonable price (breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it is open 24/7). We loved everything about it, but most of all the atmospher was great. We have an eight yr-old and a 13 yr-old and they had a great time too. It was a safe environment that kids could move around. We can’t wait to go back next summer.
